At Curantis Home Nursing the placing of a carer that meets the requirements of the patient and family is primary in the
success of a good relationship.
The initial contact and follow-up is critical to the successful relationship.
The Process Of finding a Carer
- Initial client contact with us will either be via email or telephone. In the event of email, we will then have a phone conversation for an exact understanding of your needs and requirements.
- This is always done in conjunction with an email and the relevant documents to assist in aiding in the process.
- Once a full understanding of requirements is gained we will arrange a visit with the family for a meet and greet and to answer any further questions.
- At the meet and greet, where possible, the selected carer will be available to meet the client and family to ensure that the best caregiving match is provided.
- We further have the services of Sister Lauren Baker to assist with onsite assessments should this be required.
- It is our policy that weekly contact & regular visits to ensure consistency and relationship with the carer and your loved one.
- We also started a WhatsApp group in which to ensure up-to-date communication with parties involved.
- On-going assessments as and when required.
- We will telephone to build a comprehensive brief which will be backed up by documentation that will be sent to you.
- In conjunction with the family, we will regularly reassess the client’s needs and adjust the service accordingly
- We adapt our service to your needs and requirements.
